Micromax has silently launched a new phone on its website, called Bolt A51. The handset comes with a 3.5 inch touch screen with 320×480 pixel resolution, 832 MHz processor, Android 2.3 operating system and a 1500 mAh battery.
The dual SIM smartphone offers 3G connectivity, and a 2 megapixel fixed focus rear camera with LED flash; but there is no front camera. Micromax Bolt A51 has 256 MB RAM and 512 MB internal memory only out of which around 100 MB is available for the users. There is though an expandable memory slot where users can insert a micro SD card of up to 32 GB capacity.
Going by the specification, the Micromax Bolt A51 seems to be priced at or below Rs 4,000 and will compete with Lava Iris 355 which was announced only today with almost identical specification.
Micromax has several handsets even below this price range also but this one is the first to offer 3G connectivity in below Rs 4000 range from Micromax.
