Xiaomi Mi Note 2 might well be Xiaomi’s most hyped smartphone. Recently we saw a lot of rumours popping up about its specifications. Also, yesterday, XIaomi revealed that it has scheduled an event on October 25 where the Mi Note 2 is expected to be launched. Now a presentation slide of Mi Note 2 has been leaked on Weibo as per which the Mi Note 2 will be priced at CNY 5,699 ($845) which is about Rs 57,000, making it the most expensive smartphone from Xiaomi till date.
Also, the device is expected to ship in China starting November 1, 2016. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun also teased that the new Mi Note 2 will have a surprise. It will be interesting to see what Xiaomi has it in store at such price.
As per rumours, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to come with the latest Snapdragon 821 Processor and 6GB RAM. Reportedly there will be another variant of the phone as well with Snapdragon 820 and 4GB RAM. Further, the 4GB RAM variant will come with 32GB internal storage and the 6GB RAM variant will come with 128GB internal storage.
The Mi Note 2 is expected to have a 5.5 inch OLED display which will be surrounded by a metallic body. In the camera department, the device is expected to come with 21 Megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. While other rumours suggests that the device might come with a dual-camera setup. A 3600 mAh battery, fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port is also expected in the device.
