Kobian, which sells tablets and IT peripherals under Mercury brand name, has launched a new 3G Android tablet called Mercury mTAB7G for Rs 7,799. The 7 inch tablet is 10.8mm thick, weighs 300gms and supports 2G/3G connectivity with SIM calling.
Mercury mTAB7G is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 core processor coupled with 512 MB RAM and operates on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. It comes with 4 GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB via a micro SD card. It supports SIM calling, WiFi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, and Adobe Flash 11.1 online videos. It has also a 2 megapixel rear and a VGA front camera and full HD videos.
Mercury mTab 7G comes with free tablet case cover with keyboard worth Rs 899. Mercury mTAB7G will be available from May 25th for Rs 7,799 with 1 year warranty. The tablet comes with 2400 mAh battery which is very low for a 7 inch 3G tablet.
