Meizu has scheduled an event on September 13 where it is expected to launch its new OS, Flyme 6, along with a new smartphone – Meizu Pro 7. Flyme 5 OS was launched around one year back with Meizu Pro 5 and now we expect the next version of the Flyme UI in coming days.
As per earlier rumors, Meizu Pro 7 is expected to have a QHD display, Exynos 8890 chipset, 4GB/ 6GB RAM, curved display, a 12 Megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. The Meizu Pro 7 is rumored to be priced at 2799 Yuan (approximately Rs 27,852) for 4GB variant while the 6GB RAM is expected to cost 3099 Yuan (approximately Rs 30,837). It is also rumored that the Meizu Pro 7 will have Flyme 6 pre-installed.
Meizu had earlier launched Meizu Pro 6 in China in April this year. Meizu Pro 6 32GB is priced at 2499 yuan (approximately Rs 25,700) while 64 GB variant has a price tag of 2799 yuan (approximately Rs 28,790).
Meizu Pro 6 has a 5.2-inch 2.5D touch Super AMOLED Display that comes with full HD or 1920×1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 2.5GHz Mediatek Helio X25 deca core Processor and 4GB RAM. Meizu Pro 6 has 32GB and 64GB internal storage variants, both of them have 128 GB micro SD card slot.
The smartphone has a 21 megapixel rear camera that has Sony camera sensor and is supported by a ring-shaped flash module that has 10 LED lights. A 5-megapixel front camera is there for selfies. This 4G LTE smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has Flyme user interface on top of it. Besides, the Meizu Pro 6 has a 2560 mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner. The battery supports mCharge 3.0 Fast charging which as per the company can be charge from 0% to 100% in just 60 minutes. Furthermore, the smartphone also offers Hi-Fi 3.0 for offering best audio experience, NFC, USB Type-C port, 4G with VoLTE support. The device’s dimensions are 147.7 x 70.8 x 7.25mm and it weighs 160 grams.
