Meizu’s upcoming flagship, the Meizu Pro 6, is reportedly coming with 6 GB RAM. Meizu Pro 6, which will succeed last year’s Meizu Pro 5, is expected to be released in August this year.
According to a report of of Gizmochina, the Meizu Pro 6 will be launched in two variants – one with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, while the other to offer 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Recently, Meizu’s vice president, Yang Yan posted a screenshot on social media revealing that the smartphone will feature 3D Touch/Force touch.
As per previous rumors, the Meizu Pro 6 might offer a 1080p display, Exynos 8890 processor, Android Marshmallow with new Flyme 6.0 OS on top of it, Hi-Fi 3.0, and Fast charging support.
Meizu Pro 6 is not the first smartphone to offer 6GB of RAM. Recently, Vivo launched the world’s first smartphone with 6GB RAM, named as Vivo Xplay 5 Elite. The smartphone come with 5.43-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD Super AMOLED dual curved EDGE display, Snapdragon 820 chipset, Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, 128GB internal storage, 3600 mAh battery, 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera and a fingerprint sensor on their back panel.
