As reported earlier, Meizu is planning to launch the successor of its current flagship, the MX5, on July 19. Now company has itself released a teaser image to confirm that Meizu MX6 will be launched on July 19, at National Convention Center, in Beijing, China.
And to take this development further, Meizu MX6 smartphone has also been spotted on AnTuTu benchmark website, which revealed some of its key specifications.
As per listing, the Meizu MX6 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080) display. Is is fueled by a Mediatek’s Helio X20 MT6797 processor, which is clubbed with Mali-T880 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, with option to expand further. It runs on Flyme 5.2.2 OS. On the camera front, the Meizu MX6 sports a 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Earlier, it was rumored to come with 20.7 MP rear and an 8 MP front-facing camera.
As per earlier reports, Meizu MX6 is said to come with metal unibody design, a 4000 mAh battery, Fingerprint scanner, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and 4G LTE.
