As reported earlier, Meizu has finally announced the launch of its latest flagship MX6 smartphone in China today. The smartphone is priced at 1,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 20,054) and will be available via flash sale in China, which is scheduled for July 30th. The company is also released Life Jack protective cover for the MX6, which is priced at 79 yuan (approximately Rs 793).
“Meizu MX6 is set to make its official entry in Indian market soon”, company said in the press note. Further as per company, another smartphone “Meizu M3s” is also expected to make an entry in India soon too.
Meizu MX6 has a metal unibody design and features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080) display. It is armed with 2.3GHz GHz Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X20 64-bit processor, which is paired with Mali-T880 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB internal storage. As of now it is not confirmed whether it has a microSD card slot or not.
The MX6 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of which lies Meizu’s Flyme 5.5OS. It gets its strength from 3060mAh non-removable battery with 24-watt Fast charging support.
On the camera front, the Meizu MX6 sports a 12-megapixel snapper with Sony IMX386 sensor, Dual tone LED flash, 4K video recording capability and PDAF on the back panel. On the front panel, it has a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. It has a bio-metric fingerprint scanner (mTouch 2.1) and comes with a USB Type-C port as well. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual-SIM 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (802.11ac) and GPS/AGPS.
As far as Meizu M3s is concerned, it was launched in China last month. Meizu M3s comes in two variants- 2GB RAM variant that has 16 GB Internal Memory is priced at cost 699 yuan, while its 3 GB variant with 32 GB internal memory has a price tag of 899 yuan.
The Meizu M3s offers a 5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 (4 x 1.5GHz A53 + 4 x 1.0GHz A53) Processor and Mali T860 GPU. It has a 128GB expandable memory slot. The smartphone runs on Android Lollipop operating system with FlyMe 5.1 on the top of it and is backed up by a 3,020 mAh battery. There is also fingerprint sensor embedded into the physical home button on the front.
The Meizu M3S flaunts a 13-megapixel shooter on the back with dual-tone LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that lets you focus in just 0.2 seconds and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and a Micro USB port. The handset measures 141.9 x 69.9 x 8.3 mm and weighs 138 grams.
