As anticipated, Meizu has announced its new smartphone in China today, named as Meizu M5C. The smartphone comes in black, blue, red, pink and gold colour options. As of now, the company has not revealed the pricing and availability of the device.
Meizu M5C boast a polycarbonate unibody design and screen of the device is fully laminated. It features a 5-inch HD display with the resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels and is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, along with Mali T720 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. The smartphone also features AI engine, named as OneMind.
On the camera front, the alleged Meizu M5C sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with 4-element lens, ISP technology, f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The camera is also capable of 720p slow-motion shooting. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual-SIM (dual standby) 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/AGPS and a microUSB port. It is just 8.3mm thin and weighs around 135 grams.
