Meizu M5 with 6GB RAM, Octa-Core CPU spotted

Meizu M5 smartphone is expected to be unveiled at an event scheduled to be held on 31st October in China. Just a few days ahead of its official launch, Meizu M5 (M611D) has now been found listed on a Chinese certification website, TENNA, revealing all key specifications of the phone, along with images.

In last few days, Meizu M5 has gone through various leaks, which includes live images with alleged specifications. The phone was also spotted on Geekbench and AnTuTu benchmark websites.

In AnTuTu benchmark, the smartphone scored 40,140 points and in GeekBench listing, the phone got 594 in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 2180.

As per TENNA listing, Meizu M5 comes in three variants- 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage, the 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage, and a premium model with huge 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. All the variants come with an option to expand the storage up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

Further, as per listing, The Meizu M5 is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor, whereas in Geekbench listing it’s mentioned as a 1GHz octa-core (MT6750) processor. The smartphone offers 5.2-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixel. The Meizu M5 runs on Alibaba’s YunOS 5.1.1 and is backed up by a 3000mAh battery. The device sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Besides, the smartphone offers 4G LTE, Bluetooth, a MicroUSB port, GPS and WiFi. The handset measures 147.28 × 72.8 × 8.15 mm and weights 138.87 grams.
