Meizu is all set to launch its new smartphone later this month in China, which is dubbed as Meizu E2. The company has started releasing the press invite on Chinese social media platform ‘Weibo’. As per the press invite, the curtain-raiser event of Meizu E2 is scheduled to take place at Beijing Performing Arts Center on April 26 at 15:00 hrs.
We don’t know much about the specifications as yet, but,last week a new Meizu smartphone with model name ‘Meizu M612C’ was spotted on a Chinese certification website, TENAA, which as per report could be none other than Meizu E2.
As per TENAA listing spotted last week, the Meizu M612C aka Meizu E2 will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The smartphone will have three storage variants to choose from, a standard variant that will have 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage, a 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage variant and a 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage variant.
Further, Meizu M612C will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. The device will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Apart from this, not a lot has been leaked out of the bottle as of now but we assure you to keep updated about the launch as it happens.
