Recently, there were reports that Meizu’s upcoming smartphone, which is dubbed as Meizu Pro 6, will be shipped with 6GB RAM and will have two variants – one with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, while the other to offer 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Now a new update coming from a Chinese website ‘Gizchina’, that upcoming Meizu Pro 6 will be powered by MediaTek’s newly launched deca-core Helio X25 processor.
According to the website, Mediatek unveiled its new Deca-Core Helio X20 Processor and Deca-Core Helio X25 processor at an even held in China yesterday, where Meizu’s and MediaTek’s top executives confirmed that the newly launched MediaTek’s Helio X25 processor will be exclusive to the upcoming flagship Meizu PRO 6 smartphone.
As per earlier reports, Meizu Pro 6 smartphone was expected to be powered by Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC.
According to previous leaks, Meizu Pro 6 is said to feature a 1080p display, Android Marshmallow with new Flyme 6.0 OS on top of it, 3D Touch/Force touch, Hi-Fi 3.0, and Fast charging support.
