Maxx launches two handsets with Facebook app

The new series of mobile phones, called as Tiny series by the company, includes two handsets - the Maxx Tiny MX372 and Maxx Tiny MQ368.

Maxx Mobiles, an Indian handset maker, has now come up with a new series of mobile phones to lure the youth. Named as the Tiny series, it includes two handsets – the Maxx Tiny MX372 and Maxx Tiny MQ368.

Sharing the idea behind the launch of this series, Ajjay Agarwal, chairman and managing director, Maxx Group said, “MAXX’s Tiny Series is testimony to the old adage that all good things come in small packages! Packed with features and affordably priced, here is a phone that truly fits into one’s pocket!”

The Maxx Tiny MQ368, a phone with 2.0 TFT display and an optical track-pad, weighs 64 grams. Powered with 1000 battery, the phone allows a talk-time of up to 4 hours and a of up to 300 hours, the company claimed.

It has also dedicated keys for Facebook and MSN. Besides, it is Java enabled and supports Opera mini browser. The dual phone comes with a 2MP camera and is price at Rs 2,636.

The Maxx Tiny MX372 is a dual SIM bar phone with 2.0 TFT display and weighs 61 grams. Available in four funky colours – purple, pink, wine red and white, MX372 comes with optical track-pad and flaunts a 2MP camera with flash. Priced at just Rs 2,524, the MX372 has pre-installed applications of Facebook and eBuddy.

The Maxx Tiny Series will be made available in Mumbai first, followed by other cities in India through Maxx Mobiles’ distribution network.
