Matrix slashes international roaming rates by 50%

UK travelling users can now call back home for just Rs 1 while all incoming calls are made free.

Matrix Cellular, which provides international telecommunication services to Indian residents, has slashed international rates by up to 50 per cent.
Hence, now users of Matrix who are travelling to the UK this summer can now call back home for Rs 1 per minute. On top of that, Matrix user can receive incoming calls for absolutely free.

According to Matrix, one can also use e-mails and other social media sites on his smartphone for just one-tenth the cost of international data roaming charges.
Moreover, with the new Global Blackberry SIM, Matrix users can enjoy unlimited access to emails, browsing, BBM, Facebook and Twitter in over 150 countries for about Rs 4,000 (£50).
Commenting on the price reduction, Matrix’s chief executive officer, Arun Batra said, “Matrix Cellular is committed to offering its customers best-in-value products and services whenever they’re traveling abroad. With the onset of the holiday season, these tariff reductions spell huge benefits for holidaymakers and business visitors as customers are now able to save a great deal of money as compared to any other option.”
