MapmyIndia to power GPS navigation in Tata Vista D90

Tata Vista D90's entertainment system will come loaded with MapMyIndia maps with coverage of 10.33 million places and 1.9 million road kilometers.

MapmyIndia, India’s home grown digital map provider, will provide maps for Tata Motors’ Vista D90 hatchback car. The integrated navigation system will be available as a standard feature in the Tata Vista D90 ZX+.

The map on the car will offer navigation across 10.33 million places, 1.9 million road kilometers in 600,000 villages and 4,787 cities with street-level details.

In 50 cities the maps provide details till the house-level and in 46 cities you get full 3D driving directions to 30,000 tourist locations, including advanced and localised navigation and driver assistance features such as extended lane guidance, sign-posts, points of interest, regional voice guidance and regional maps.

Tata Motors is not the only one. MapmyIndia is also offering in-car navigation systems for Mahindra & Mahindra, Ford, and Mitsubishi.
