Magicon, a new entrant in the Indian smartphone market, has launched three new Android models starting from Rs 3,250 with Magicon UltraSmart M2 Elegante, M39 Savvy and M3 Atom.
All three new models are dual SIM, dual standby phones. Magicon M2 Elegante, priced at Rs 4,343, is a 3G Android 2.3 Gingerbread phone with a 3.5 inch display.
It comes with a 2 megapixel rear camera and 1 GHz Qualcomm processor. It sports voice-enabled turn by turn maps and navigation too.
Magicon M39 Savvy priced at Rs 3,999 is a 2G only phone with a 3.95 inch display, and dual cameras with flash. M39 Savvy comes with 1350 mAh battery with claimed 8 hours of talktime and 120 hours of standby time. Magicon M39 Savvy comes with a 1 GHz processor.
The most affordable smartphone in Magicon’s UltraSmart range is M3 Atom. Priced at Rs 3,250, it has a 3.5 inch display and supports 2G network only.
All three models have features like Accelerometer or G-sensor, proximity sensor, light sensor, orientation sensor, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Jitendra Rahi, executive director, Conplex International Ltd, the business conglomerate headquartered at Hong Kong that owns Magicon, said, “We are in the process of expanding our channel network and retail presence. Our target is to have as many customer touch points as possible and be even closer to the customer, especially in tier II and tier III cities from where the demand is emanating.”
The phones are already available in most well-known online retail sites. All the Magicon phones come with a 1 year warranty.
