Flame 2, Wind 4 and Water 7 are 4G smartphones and have decent features

Earlier this month, Reliance Digital’s LYF announced the Flame 2, Wind 4 and Water 7 4G smartphones. However, at that time the company had neither revealed their prices or specs. Today, The Mobile Indian discovered the Flame 2, Wind 4 as well as Water 7 on LYF’s website with full spec sheet as well as price.

As per the listing, Flame 2 is priced at Rs 5,549 while Wind 4 is priced at Rs 9,699 and Water 7 is priced at Rs 18,750. Note that, as per LYF’s earlier statement, the Flame 2 is to hit the markets at Rs 4,999.

According to the listing, LYF Flame 2 features a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core (MT6735M) processor, 1GB of RAM and MaliT720-Mp1 450MHz GPU. The smartphone runs on Lollipop 5.1 operating system and comes with 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable by up-to 32GB via a micro SD card.

The Flame 2 is backed by a 1500 mAh Lithium-ion battery, which claims to offer up-to 7.5 hours of talk-time and up-to 190 hours of standby time on 4G network. The Flame 2 sports a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with an LED flash and a 2-megapixel fixed-focus front camera. The camera features include Zoom 4X, Picture in picture, multi angle view mode, ASD (Auto-Scene Detection), Face Detection, Video Snapshot, Smile Shot and Gesture Capture. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G/LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), WiFi Calling, 4.1, GPS, and a 2.0 port. include Accelorometer, and Gravity Sensor. The handset measures 124.2mm x 64.8mm x 10.3mm and weighs 145 grams. The device comes in two colour variants – Black and White.

On the other hand, the LYF Wind 4 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm SnapDragon 210 (MSM8909) processor, which is clubbed with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU. It too has the Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system, 8GB internal storage and even a 32GB expandable storage facility.

The Wind 4 is backed up by a huge 4000 mAh Lithium-ion battery, which claims to offer up-to 28 hours of talktime and up-to 630 hours of standby time on 4G network. The handset sports an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with an LED flash and a 2-megapixel fixed-focus front camera. The camera features include 1/4″ colour CMOS image sensor, Face detection, Continuous shot, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), Touch to focus, and Panorama. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G/LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), WiFi Calling, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0. Sensors include Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, and Proximity Sensor. The handset measures 144mmx72mmx8.9 mm and weighs 146 grams. The device comes in three colours- Black, Blue, and Brown.

As far as LYF Water 7 is concerned, it offers a 5.5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) display with Dragontrail Glass protection. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor, 2GB RAM and Adreno 405 graphics processor. This Android Lollipop 5.1 smartphone has 16GB of inbuilt memory while its expandable storage slot can hold a micro SD card of up to 128GB capacity. This 4G smartphone features a Fingerprint sensor on the back panel, which can also be used to click pictures via the cameras.

The Water 7 has a decent 3000 mAh Lithium-ion battery, which claims to offer up-to 14 hours of talktime and up-to 150 hours of standby time on 4G network. The handset sports a 13-megapixel auto-focus snapper with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus selfie camera. The camera has several features like High Dynamic Range (HDR), Electronic Aperture, Panorama, Manual Control over ISO, White Balance, and Exposure.

The dual SIM Water 7 offers 4G/LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), WiFi Calling, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and micro USB 2.0 port with OTG support. It has Gravity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Gyroscope Sensor, Hall Sensor, and Accelerometer. The handset measures 155.3mm x 77.2mm x 8.55 mm and weighs 160 grams. The device comes in Silver and Gold colours.
