Logitech has announced two new Ultimate Ears speakers namely the Blast and Megablast. The UE Blast is priced at $229.99, while the UE Megablast comes with a price tag of $299.99 and both the speakers will be available in the US, United Kingdom, Germany and Austria beginning late October.
Both the Bluetooth speakers comes loaded with Amazon Alexa virtual assistant. Like other Amazon Echo devices, it uses far-field microphones, you that the speaker can listen and respond to user’s queries and more. The speakers come with three months of Amazon Music subscriptions for free and users can stream directly over the internet instead of using the smartphone.
Starting with Megablast, the speaker is touted to produce powerful mid-range, deeper bass, vocals, and instruments. It has a maximum sound pressure level of 93 dBC and the company claims that the speaker is 40 percent louder than Ultimate Ears Megaboom. Both the devices also give you the ability to stream music from the cloud, and both of them has a range of 330 feet on Wi-Fi and 150 feet on Bluetooth.

Both the speakers are IP67 rated, which means they are dustproof, waterproof and can be immersed in up to three feet of water for up to 30 minutes. The UE Blast comes with a battery life of up to 12 hours, while the UE Megablast offers up to 16 hours battery backup. Both the speakers are available in six colors including Graphite (Black), Blizzard (White), Blue Steel, Merlot (Red), Mojito (Green) and Lemonade (Yellow).
