Navigable, a location based friend finder service, has announced the launch of its Android application. This free service shares a user’s Facebook profile and data in order to search for other Facebook users in the vicinity of the users.
Users can then send a communication request to the discovered people or users and thereby expend their friend circle.
The application is available free of cost for Android device users and only requires an active internet connection either through WiFi or though GPRS in order to connect to the Navigale servers.
The application can be good for users who are new to a particular area as they can collaborate with fellow users and people through the service to find out more about a particular area or about its famous hangout spots.
The application allows users to see the rough location of users on the map informing them about the place where the other person is currently is.
The Navigale service as of now comes without any form of in App advertisements and one can chat with Facebook friends as well as other Facebook users who are not on your friend list.
