As reported earlier, Samsung is working on its new clamshell smartphone which is codenamed as ‘Veyron’ and comes with model name SM-W2017. The SM-W2017 (Veyron) smartphone is said to be the successor of last year’s SM-W2016 clamshell phone.
Earlier, the clamshell smartphone with model name SM-W2017 (Veyron) was spotted on Geekbench website, Zauba, and AnTuTu benchmark. Now the live images of alleged SM-W2017 aka Veyron have been surfaced online twice in just span of two days.
As per listings, the SM-W2017 aka Veyron has a 4.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) Super AMOLED Display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. Further, as per listings, the upcoming clamshell smartphone has a 12-megapixel OIS rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
Further, as per reports, the SM-W2017 aka Veyron said to house a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and would come with a USB Type-C port as well. The smartphone is also expected to feature NFC, Samsung Pay, and will get its strength from a 2000mAh battery.
Moreover, on GeekBench, the phone got 2364 in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 5458, and the phone was listed on Zauba with price tag of Rs 27,492.
