LG X4+ rugged smartphone launched with 5.3-inch display and 13MP camera

The smartphone also supports company mobile payment - LG Pay.

The South Korean company LG has launched a new rugged smartphone, the X4+ in its home market. The smartphone is priced at 300,000 won, $280 which is approximately Rs 17,834. It will be available for purchase at all three major carriers in the country and it comes in blue and lavender violet colours.

The device has passed 14 different MIL-STD 810G tests designed for the U.S. military. It is certified in six categories such as impact, vibration, high temperature, low temperature, thermal shock, and humidity.

As far as specifications are concerned, LG X4+ features a 5.3-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on 7.0 Nougat operating system. There is also a fingerprint sensor placed at the back of the device. Furthermore, it also supports LG Pay – the company mobile payment service.

LG X4+ gets its strength from a 3000mAh battery. On the camera front, the smartphone offers a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats. Besides, the smartphone offers dual sim, LTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm and and Wi-Fi. The handset measures 148.6 × 75.1 × 8.6mm and weighs 172.3 grams.
