LG is reportedly pulling up socks to launch its flagship smartphone codenamed X3 at the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, Spain next month.
According to PocketNow, the upcoming LG flagship device will feature a 4.7-inch touchscreen display supporting 1280×720 pixel resolution natively. This smartphone will house a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor and will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich by default.
This LG X3 smartphone will have thickness of around 9 millimeter and is expected to be super-light. At the rear, the X3 will feature an 8-megapixel camera while the front facing camera would be of 1.3 megapixel for video chat. For wireless connectivity, the smartphone will support WiFi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth 4.0 apart from 3G network. It will also feature Near Field Communication chip for the fancy data exchange apps.
To power this monstrous device, LG has added 2000 mAh battery to make it run for long time. LG is expected to unveil this device at the Mobile World Congress 2012 next month and the handset would be made available later this year.
