Planning to buy a smartphone or a laptop, then here is good news for you. Several affordable smartphones and a high end laptop got launched in India. Lenovo also launched an affordable laptop. Here we have compiled all the devices which were formally announced for the Indian market.
This is arguably the most talked about smartphone to be launched this week. Infact, it was perhaps the first LG handset in a long time to have grabbed so much eyeballs.
This is because; the phone is quite attractively priced at Rs 12,990. But most importantly, it has one unique feature – dual screen. The secondary ‘always on’ screen shows notifications such as incoming calls and messages. You can also customize it to display your name, motto and any personal message that will appear all the time. It also comes with SOS feature – on pressing the power button for five times continuously, an SOS message will be sent to designated numbers.
The LG X Screen has a 4.93-inch primary screen that comes with 1280×720 pixels (HD) Resolution while its secondary 1.76-inch display has 520 x 80 pixels resolution. This phone has a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, 2 TB expandable memory, Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera and a 2300 mAh battery. The phone measures 142.6 x 71.8 x 7.1mm and weighs 120 grams.
It has two SIM slots and offers 4G connectivity as well. Besides, the LG X Screen has WiFi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, micro USB 2.0 port, and WiFi Hotspot. It has a 3.5 mm jack and FM radio as well. For navigation, the phone offers GPS with AGPG and GLONASS. Its 2300 mAh battery claims to offer up to 780 minutes of 3G talktime.
It was launched earlier this week at Rs 11,999 and its USP is its 13 Megapixel front camera. Available in white and gold colours, the M535+ comes with a metal body and a 5.5-inch full HD (1280 × 1080 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 Processor which is coupled with 3GB RAM. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box and has a customised interface called Inlife UI 2.0.
Infocus M535+ comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera as well that has F/2.2 aperture, autofocus, HDR and LED flash. The M535+ comes with an 16 GB in-built storage which can be expanded to upto 64GB through a micro SD card. It has a 2,600 mAh battery which claims to offer 480 hours of Standby time and 12 hours of talk time.
For connectivity it has 4G with VoLTE, WiFi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth 4.1, FM Radio and micro-USB port along with dual SIM. It has Accelerometer, Gyro-sensor, E-Compass and proximity sensors. The phone measures 156 x 76.8 x 7.25 mm and weighs 158 grams.

Based on an older Android 4.4.2 kitkat operating system, the Lava A32 draws its power from a 1500 mAh battery. It offers 10 hours of talktime on 2G and 9 hours of talktime on 3G.
The Lava A32 offers a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, and a VGA-megapixel front camera. Xiaomi Power Bank, earphones
Xiaomi launched a 10000 mAh power bank and two earphones in the Indian market this week. The power bank is available from Mi website for Rs 1,299. While the Mi Capsule earphone (originally called as Mi Piston Air headphone) is available at Rs 999, the Mi in-ear Headphone Pro Gold is priced at Rs 1,799.
The power bank has 10000 mAh Panasonic/LG battery cells and as per the company can charge the Mi Note’s 3000 mAh battery 2.1 times. Wrapped in a sleek aluminium case, comes with a power check button, four indicator lights, one micro USB input port, and a USB output port.
The Rs 999, Mi Capsule earphone is available in black and white colours. It has Hypoallergenic silicone earbuds which are curved by 45 degrees thus promising comfort. It comes with 7 mm dynamic drivers and “spiral damping system” that claims to offer strong and distinct sound. It has volume control buttons as well as call connect/disconnect key.
