LG launched its flagship V40 ThinQ smartphone in October last year. The phone is now reportedly set to make its way to the Indian market as well. The V40 ThinQ features five cameras with flagship specs.
As per the report of MySmartPrice, LG is all set to soon launch the LG V40 ThinQ in India and it will be sold exclusively on Amazon India. The smartphone will also be available for purchase via offline retailers across India. As of now, the exact launch date and its availability in India market is not known.
LG V40 ThinQ was announced in four colour options – Aurora Black, Platinum Gray, Moroccan Blue and Carmine Red. It is also not known at the moment that which colours will make it to India. The report further says that the LG V40 ThinQ is expected to come at around Rs 45,000 in India.
The LG V40 ThinQ features a 6.4-inch (3120 x 1440 pixels) FullVision OLED display with as an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and 537 ppi of pixel density. It is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU coupled with 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of storage. The phone runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with LG UX that is said to be upgradable to Android Pie.
The LG V40 ThinQ comes equipped with five cameras in total with three on the rear and two on the front. The rear setup comes with a combination of 12-megapixel with f/1.5 Aperture and Optical Image Stabilization, 16-megapixel super wide camera with f/1.9 aperture and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture. That third lens enables 2x optical zoom. The dual front camera has an 8-megapixel primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and a secondary 5-megapixel Wide-Angle camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The LG V40 ThinQ is fueled by a 3,300 mAh battery with Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 support and USB-C. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the rear, face unlock, a dedicated Google Assistant button. The phone also features an IP 68 rating and MIL-STD-810G certification.
The smartphone features Boombox Speaker technology to boost its low-frequency output. It has 3.5 mm jack with 32-bit Quad DAC support. Connectivity options on the LG V40 ThinQ include a 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible), FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. Dimensions are 158.7 x 75.8 x 7.7mm and its weight is 169 grams.
