LG will launch the successor of last year’s LG V10, which is to be launched as LG V20, on September 6. The company has issued teasers confirming the same and added that it will hold events in San Francisco and Seoul on 6th and 7th September respectively wherein the smartphone will be unveiled.
LG has already confirmed that the V20 will come with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. However, other features of the smartphone are still not known.
As per earlier reports, the LG V20 smartphone has a 5.5-inch Full HD in-cell display, quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor and Adreno 530 GPU. It is reportedly coming in 3GB or 4GB of RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB storage variants. Both the models are expected to have expandable storage slot for up-to a 256 GB micro SD card.
Further as per reports, the upcoming V20 smartphone would flaunt a 20-megapixel shooter on the back, and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper in front. The smartphone is rumored to have a 4000 mAh battery as well as a Type-C USB port.
As of now there is no information on the secondary ‘always on’ display and dual front cameras, which were counted as the highlights of the last year’s V10 smartphone.
Sadly, last year’s LG V10 is yet to be released in India, though some imported models are being offered through Amazon and eBay.
