LG has already confirmed that it will launch the successor of last year’s LG V10, which is named as LG V20, on September 6. The company had issued teasers confirming the same and added that it will hold events in San Francisco and Seoul on 6th and 7th September respectively. Now few render images of the phone have surfaced online, giving some insight on how the upcoming smartphone will look like.
As per the render images, the LG V20 smartphone looks like having a metal unibody with a large main display and a secondary (always on) display positioned above it. It also houses a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. However, it does not seem to have dual front camera as V10, instead the V20 is expected to offer dual rear camera setup with dual LED flash.
Recently, LG confirmed that the V20 will come with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. However, other features of the smartphone are still not known.
Earlier, alleged specs of LG V20 smartphone was leaked online.
As per leaks and reports, the LG V20 smartphone will have a 5.5-inch Full HD in-cell display, quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor and Adreno 530 GPU. It is reportedly coming in 3GB or 4GB of RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB storage variants. Both the models are expected to have expandable storage slot for up-to a 256 GB micro SD card.
Further as per reports, the upcoming V20 smartphone would flaunt a dual camera setup on the back, and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper in front. The smartphone is rumored to have a 4000 mAh battery as well as a Type-C USB port.
