LG has announced the launch of a compact version of its flagship V20 smartphone in Japan, which is named as LG V20 Pro. This smartphone is available in titan colour and will be available in the Japanese market via NTT Docomo in February next year. As of now company has not revealed the pricing of the device.
Most of the specifications of LG V20 Pro are identical to the LG’s V20 flagship device, except V20 Pro has a smaller screen size, lower internal storage, and a smaller battery. Further, the smartphone weighs 140 grams due to its compact size and measures 72 × 149 × 7.9 mm.
The LG V20 Pro features dual display including a primary 5.2-inch Quantum display that comes with QHD (2560×1440 pixels) Resolution and a secondary 2.1-inch screen with 160 x 1040 pixels resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 820 MSM8996 (2.15 GHz × 2 cores + 1.59 GHz × 2 cores) quad-core processor, along with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, and also support expandable storage with micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
LG V20 Pro comes with a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter) thus promising superior audio experience through wired headphones. Further, it comes bundled with B&O Play earphones.
On the rear panel, like LG V20, V20 Pro also has dual rear cameras of which one is of 16-megapixel resolution that comes with OIS, Hybrid Auto-Focus (includes Laser auto-focus, PDAF, contrast auto-focus), f/1.8 Aperture and dual-tone LED Flashlights. The second camera is a wide-angle 8-megapixel fixed focus unit. The V20 Pro has a 5-megapixel selfies camera in its front. The smartphone houses a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated on the back panel and also comes with USB Type-C port.
The LG V20 Pro comes packed with 2900mAh removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. Besides, the smartphone offers 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 ac), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and NFC.
