LG Electronics (LG) will begin rolling out its newest LCD TV lineup in markets worldwide starting in July. The lineup consists of 8K QNED99 and QNED95 series models and 4K QNED90 series models. The screen sizes range from 65 inches to 86 inches.
LG QNED Mini LED TV will initially be available in North America. After that, it will be followed by additional regions around the world in the weeks ahead.
These TV’s feature Quantum Dot NanoCell colour and Mini LED backlight technologies.
The company claims that the 2021 TVs deliver a viewing experience with deeper blacks and more accurate colour reproduction with greater contrast and brightness.

The TVs are certified by the international product testing agency Intertek for providing 100 percent colour volume and colour consistency. LG QNED Mini LED TVs also eliminate colour distortion across a wide viewing angle.
LG QNED Mini LED TV packs smaller LEDs into the backlight compared to other similarly-sized TV screens, increasing brightness and dimming zones.
For example, LG’s 86-inch 8K TV (model 86QNED99UPA) is backlit by approximately 30,000 LED lights arranged to create about 2,500 local dimming zones to deliver a 10 times better contrast ratio than conventional LCD TVs.
Earlier, the LG 2021 range of soundbars with Dolby Atmos and AI features were announced. The new models feature Meridian Audio tuning and Meridian technology when in Music Mode. All the 2021 soundbars from LG support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for dynamic three-dimensional audio.Â
The company’s soundbars allow users to take advantage of LG TV’s AI Sound Pro feature. Audio from the TV is played through the soundbar via TV Sound Mode Share. The 2021 lineup is compatible with multiple voice assistants including Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Siri.
