LG has today announced a new Q series with the launch of LG Q6 smartphone. The brand has also announced Q6+ and Q6α (α stands for alpha) with different RAM and storage configurations. LG Q6 will go on sale in key markets in Asia in August followed by availability in Europe, Latin America and North America.
The major highlight of this mid-range series is the inclusion of FullVision Display coupled with 18:9 aspect ratio and minimal side bezels, similar to what we have seen in the LG G6. The company has also retained the 7000 series aluminium metal frame, which makes it quite durable. Further, The device is subjected to LG’s demanding regimen of over 20 battery tests which include heat, penetration and shock, conditions more stringent than international testing protocols.
Jumping straight to the specifications, the smartphones boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD+ FullVision display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and a Pixel density of 442ppi. All the smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor. The Q6+ comes with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the Q6 sports a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The Q6α is backed by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

The Q6+ comes in Astro Black, Ice Platinum and Marine Blue colour variants. The Q6 will be available in Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White and Terra Gold colour options, while the Q6α comes in Astro Black, Ice Platinum and Terra Gold colours.
