Korean consumer electronics giant, LG has officially announced the launch of its latest smartphone – the Optimus L9 II. The LG Optimus L9II is an upgraded version of the older LG Optimus L9 which was launched last year.
The LG Optimus L9 II features a 4.7-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. This smartphone has a dual-core 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8320 System on Chip and Adreno 305 graphics chip. This chipset is powered by 1 GB RAM that runs the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It also has 8 GB on-board storage along with a Memory card slot to expand the storage by another 32 GB or 64 GB.
At its rear, the LG Optimus L9 II has an 8 Megapixel camera offering high quality imaging and videos while at the front there is a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. LG has packed a 2150 mAh battery and the deice will go on sale starting October however the price and the countries in which the device will go on sale to start with is still to be announced by the company.
