LG Electronics is keeping the affordable L Series III smartphones at the bay for Indian market. While many budget smartphones continue to hit the India retail market, LG L60 Dual gets quietly listed at Amazon India and LG India’s own website. The new LG L60 Dual comes with a 4.3-inch display, dual-core 1.3 GHz mobile Processor and Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The LG L60 has been listed on LG India official website for Rs 9,000 while the same has been listed at Amazon India website for Rs 7,990.
LG L60 Dual is the third generation L Series III smartphone and obviously supports the dual-SIM configuration support. The L60 Dual features a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with 480×800 pixel resolution. LG has powered this smartphone with dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 mobile Chipset paired with 512 MB RAM. This basic hardware is clearly no match against the quad-core mobile chipset and 1 GB RAM promising smartphones such as Motorola Moto E, ASUS Zenfone 4, and others from Lava, Micromax, Karbonn as well as Xolo. LG offers 4GB on-board storage and memory card slot to add up to 64 GB Micro SD card.
By default, the smartphone runs the Android 4.4 KitKat but it may not get the LG UX features in near feature. Unless, LG has different plans for it. At the back, it has a 5 megapixel Fixed Focus camera with LED flash while in its front lies a VGA quality camera for video calls.
LG has loaded WiFi network support for faster mobile internet experience apart from one 3G network enabled SIM support in one of the dual-SIM slots. Other features include Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and Micro USB 2.0 support.
LG has packed 1700 mAh battery to power the L60 Dual.
