Since last year, LG is launching two flagship devices per year – the LG G series and now the LG V series (V10 and V20). Earlier this week, LG launched the LG V20 for Rs 54,999. However, leaks about the next flagship from LG is already hovering over the internet.
David Ruddock from Android Police yesterday tweeted that, LG G6 will not come with a removable battery. Further, he further revealed that the G6 will come with an all-glass body and LG is likely to retain the 3.5mm Headphone jack.
He tweeted – “Source: LG G6 will not have a removable battery, LG will move to an all-glass design language similar to Samsung. Headphone jack is a go.”
However, soon he denied the all-glass built and claimed that according to his sources, LG G6 will feature ‘highly reflective’ metallic material on the rear.
Non-removable battery means the battery will not be swappable which is where new rumours claimed that LG is likely to dump the modular concept it introduced with LG G5. Further, with modular concept likely to go, LG might introduce water and dust resistance in the new G6. Talking about the 3.5 mm headphone jack, LG is also likely to keep the Hi-Fi Quad DAC for high-quality audio output via headsets.
Although, these rumours come from a reliable source, still, we would recommend you take with a pinch of salt as it is likely to be a wild guess.
