South Korean phone maker, LG is said to be working on Lite version of its flagship G5 smartphone. The phone with model name LG H848 has been spotted at the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA. The listing on TENAA shows the image as well as the specification of the phone. LG G5 was unveiled in Mobile World Congress event held in Barcelona in February last month.
The Lite version has same specs as LG G5 but comes with a different processor and RAM. As per the listing, LG G5 Lite features a 5.3-inch display that has quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a Octa Core Snapdragon 652 processor (Quad 1.8GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.2GHz A53 cores ), Adreno 510 GPU and 3GB RAM. LG G5 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB RAM.
Like LG G5, LG G5 Lite offers 32GB of internal storage, expandable storage via a micro SD card, 16 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8 megapixel front facing camera. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system backed up by 2700 mAh battery. The device measures 149.4 x 73.9 x 7.7~8.6mm and weighs 156 grams. Connectivity options of the smartphone include WiFi (a/b/g/n/ac), LTE, Bluetooth 4.2 A2DP, GPS with AGPS and GLONASS, NFC, Infrared port, and USB type c port. The device also has a fingerprint sensor.
