LG has announced the LG G Pad III 10.1 tablet for its home market, i.e Korea. The LG G Pad III 10.1 tablet is priced at 429,000 Won, which is approximately Rs 24,535. The tablet will be available in South Korea from today. LG G Pad III 10.1 is the successor of LG G Pad II 10.1 which was launched last year.
LG G Pad III 10.1 features 10.1-inch full HD (1920×1280 pixels) WUXGA display and is powered with 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor paired with 2GB RAM. The tablet runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
The tablet comes with 32GB of internal storage, which is further expandable to up-to 2TB via microSD card. The G Pad III 10.1 sports an 5-megapixel with rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The tablet is powered by a 6,000mAh non removable battery.
On the connectivity front, the LG G Pad III 10.1 offers 4G LTE optional, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type C port. The tablet measures 256.2 X 167.9 X 6.7~7.9 mm and weighs 510 grams.
LG G Pad III 10.1 will be available in black colour variant.
There are no indications yet on a possible India launch, even as the market in India remains lukewarm at best to tablets. Even poll sops have jumped over from Laptops to mobiles, bypassing tablets!
