A week after introducing its latest Soundbar range in collaboration with Meridian Audio, LG Electronics has now expanded its XBOOM audio lineup with the launch of the 3,500-watt XBOOM CL98 mini component and the 2,000-watt XBOOK OL100, XBOOM (RK7 and RL4) freestyle speakers and XBOOM Go PK speakers. All of these LG products will be displayed at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019 in Las Vegas.
The new flagship XBOOM mini CL98 boasts a solid output of 3,500W and incorporates a Compression Horn to generate crisper, more detailed audio across higher frequencies. The XBOOM OL100, on the other hand, delivers 2,000W output through its Proprietary Blast Horn which is a folded air duct behind the driver. Additionally, the XBOOM OL100 equips a Grab & Move handle design for maximum portability.
Both devices offer Meridian Mode which is an exclusive sound setting that allows clearer vocals and more responsive bass and has been created in collaboration with Meridian Audio. The speakers support aptX HD codec for lossless hi-resolution audio streaming over Bluetooth and feature the upgraded Wireless Party Link feature to allow connecting multiple speakers for a wholesome sound experience.
LG has also announced the XBOOM RK7 and RL4 freestyle speakers. The RK7 and RL4 can be positioned vertically or horizontally on a surface and come with LG’s X-grip handle for convenient transportation.
And then, there are the new LG XBOOM Go PK series speakers which offer aptX HD codec support for playing lossless 24-bit audio through a wireless connection. The PK series also offers high-quality audio inside a compact and lightweight package and also produce accurate wireless sound on the go.
All LG products are enabled with Karaoke Star feature that allows users to play Karaoke nights with their friends and family by suppressing the vocals on almost any track. There are 18 unique vocal effects that can be paired with LG’s new Multi-Colour Lighting feature on the XBOOM 2019 lineup. The new range also equips a DJ Star feature which will let interested users to deftly fade in and out of tracks, cue up future tunes and scratch like a professional DJ.
