After launching a new line of IdeaPad and ThinkPad laptops as well as the Android Pie-running Tab V7, Lenovo has introduced its two new active noise-cancelling (ANC) headphones, one each under its ThinkPad and IdeaPad range. The new Lenovo Yoga ANC and ThinkPad X1 ANC will be available for asking prices of €158 (approx. Rs 12,700) each.
The Yoga ANC Headphones are designed for professional audio experience and it comes with hybrid noise cancellation which enables both ANC and ENC. the headphones feature microphones on the inside and outside in order to make anti-noise waves from ambient sound and input audio. This will thus bring more clear and crisp sound when listening to music or attending voice calls.
The Lenovo Yoga ANC headphones equip the Smart Voice Pickup and are enabled with Skype optimisation and Quick Access controls for voice calls. In terms of design, the Yoga headphones have a similar profile to the Microsoft Surface Headphones and can be folded for portability.
The new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 ANC Headphones also offers high-fidelity audio through active and electronic noise cancellation. It comes with a 90-degree hinge that folds the ear cups in a flat position and can be carried in a pouch when travelling. The headphones are made of aluminium build and feature a USB-C connection for quick charging in under two hours.
The same USB-C port also doubles up as the audio input when using the Headphone in wired mode. Lenovo has adopted aptX, and aptXLL (low latency), HP1.7, and mSBC codecs when pairing the headphones to a device via Bluetooth. The XI ANC headphones like its Yoga counterpart also comes with Smart Voice Pickup, Skype optimisation and Quick Access controls.
