Lenovo today announced the launch of Tab 2 A7-20 and Yoga Tab 3 tablets in India at Rs 5,499 and Rs 16,999 respectively. The Tab 2 A7-20 is already available from both Lenovo’s website and Snapdeal, whereas Yoga Tab 3 will be made available later this month.
The Tab 2 A7-20 comes with a 7 inch IPS display with 1024×600 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core Mediatek Processor and 1 GB RAM. It has 8 GB of internal storage as well as a micro SD card slot of 32 GB capacity. The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20 comes with Android KitKat but is said to be upgradable to Android Lollipop. It has a 2 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. The tablet has a 3450 mAh battery.
However, the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20 is a WiFi only tablet and has Bluetooth, Micro USB port, 3.5 mm jack, Dolby Audio and front facing camera. The company claims that this tablet is the slimmest and lightest tablet ever at a thinness of 8.9 mm and weight of just 269 grams.
On the other hand, Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 features an 8-inch IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a quad core 1.3 GHz Qualcomm processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 5.1 lollipop operating system.
The Yoga Tab 3 comes with 16 GB of internal storage which is further expandable by another 128 GB via a micro SD card. The device flaunts an 8-megapixel, 180° rotating auto-focus camera for selfies and pictures. It get the power from 6200 mAh Lithium-Ion non removable battery which claims to offer up-to 20 hours of non stop usage and up-to 95 days of standby time.
Besides the Yoga Tab 3 offers Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, and micro USB port. It has G-sensor, Vibrator and Hall Sensors as well. The device measures 5.74″x 0.13″ x 8.26mm and weighs 1.03 lbs. Besides this, it comes with Lenovo’s AnyPen technology, which gives the flexibility to use a pencil, a stick or even a fork-as a stylus.
