Lenovo has revealed the Vibe S1 Lite at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show 2016, Las Vegas. As its name suggests, the Vibe S1 Lite is a toned-down version of Lenovo Vibe S1 which was launched in November last year in India for Rs 15,999. The Vibe S1 Lite has been announced for $199 or approximately Rs 13,250 and is expected to go on sale in the coming weeks. It will be available in Blue and White colours, both with matte-finish.
The new Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and has a 5-inch FHD IPS (1920×71080) display. It runs on a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. It has 16 GB of built-in storage and a memory card slot which can further add 128 GB on memory via a micro SD card.
The Vibe S1 Lite has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash as well and it is packed with 2,700 mAh battery. It has an impressive 8MP selfie camera, which also comes with an LED flash.
It is a 4G ready smartphone and supports all the regular connectivity option like WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, Bluetooth and micro USB. The device supports Dual-SIM with dual standby. The phone measures 145 x 71 x 8.5 mm and weighs 129 grams.
