Lenovo Vibe S1 gets Android Marshmallow update in India

Lenovo Vibe S1 has two front cameras - an 8 megapixel unit and a 2 megapixel unit.

Lenovo is rolling out the Marshmallow update for the Lenovo Vibe S1 smartphone. The announment came via Twitter handle of Anuj Sharma (@s_anuj), Head of Product and Marketing for Lenovo India.

Lenovo Vibe S1 was launched in India last year at Rs 15,999. Now the smartphone is retailing at a discounted price of Rs 12,999 on Amazon India.

As far as specification are concerned, the Lenovo Vibe S1 has two front cameras – an 8 unit and a 2 megapixel unit. It also offers a 13 megapixel camera in the back panel.

The Lenovo Vibe S1 has a unibody glass body with metal rim on the sides. The handset is quite sleek with just 7.8 mm thickness and it weighs just 132 grams. The Vibe S1 has a 5 inch touchscreen that comes with full high definition (1920×1080 pixels) and it has 3 protection as well.

The Vibe S1 comes with the 64 bit Mediatek MT6752 octa core processor that runs the phone with the help of 3 RAM and Mali T760 graphics processor. It has huge 32 GB of and a micro card slot that can accommodate a micro SD card of up to 128 GB.

The Vibe S1 has two card slots and it is compatible as well. Besides, it has dual WiFi (a/b/g/n), WiFi Direct, WiFi Hotspot, 4.0 A2DP, FM radio, micro USB 2.0 port and with AGPS.

Lenovo had recently rolled out Android Marshmallow update for K3 note, A7000, Vibe P1 smartphones.
