Last August a phone called Lenovo Vibe P1 Pro was spotted on the website of TENAA, a Chinese certification agency. However, Lenovo never officially recognised the phone. Now, Lenovo has launched a phone called Vibe P1 Turbo in Indonesia with almost the same specs as the Vibe P1 Pro. Many are now arguing that the new Vibe P1 Turbo is the re-branded version of the alleged Vibe P1 Pro.
The Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo has been priced at $295 (approximately Rs 20,075) for the Indonesian market and is available for pre-order from official Lenovo Indonesia website. The smartphone comes in Gold, Graphite Gray, and Silver color variants.
Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo comes with a 5.5-inch full HD (1080 x 1920 pixel) display and is powered by the 64-bit 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor which is paired with 3GB of RAM as compared to 2GB RAM of Vibe P1 Pro. This dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The device also offers a fingerprint sensor.
The Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo comes with 32GB internal memory, which can be further expanded by upto 128GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone offers a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery and comes with 24W Quick Charge 2.0 technology. On the connectivity front, the Vibe P1 Turbo offers Dual SIM, 4G, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB, and GPS/AGPS.
As of now, we have no information about Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo’s launch in other markets, including India.
