Lenovo has unveiled its new mid-range 4G smartphones, the Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus, at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016, in Barcelona. The smartphones will be launched in select markets including India from next month onwards. The Lenovo Vibe K5 will cost $129 (approximately Rs 8,852), while Vibe K5 Plus is priced at $149 (Rs 10,214 approximately). Both the smartphones come in Silver, Grey, and Gold colour options.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 processor, which is paired with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and gets the power from a 2750 mAh battery.
The Vibe K5 comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up-to 32GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone flaunts a 13-megapixel rear snapper with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front panel. For connectivity, it offers Dual-SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a Micro USB port.
On the other hand, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has a 5-inch IPS full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, which is paired with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and has a 2750 mAh battery.
Like Vibe K5, the Vibe K5 Plus also sports a 13-megapixel rear-camera with an LED flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing sensor, 16GB of internal storage, 32GB expandable storage slot, Dual-SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a micro USB port.
Both the smartphones come with Dobly Atmos technology with two speakers on rear panel.
