The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 event is scheduled to be held in Barcelona, Spain later this month from 27th February to 2nd March. The tech show will host a bunch of launch events from various manufacturers of which, one of them is Lenovo. Apart from the Moto G5, the Chinese handset manufacturer will also showcase its tablet lineup. A famous leakster, Roland Quandt (@rquandt) of Winfuture.de on his Twitter handle has now revealed that Lenovo will be launching at least 5 new tablets in the MWC 2017 event.
As per Ronald, Lenovo’s five new tablets will be announced at the upcoming MWC event. The tablet list includes TB-X304F/N, TB-X704F/N, TB-8504F/N and TB-8704F/N and Tab 3 8 Plus (TB-8703F). Interestingly, the Lenovo TB-8504F/N tablet wasspotted on GFXBench benchmarking website earlier today, while, the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus tablet with model number ‘TB-8703F’ was spotted on Geekbench website last month. As of now, not much information is available for other three Lenovo tablets. But we expect some more leaks on them and keep you updated about the same as we head closer to the MWC.
To recall, as per the listing on GFXBench, Lenovo TB-8504F/N has a 9.4-inch HD display with 1280×800 pixels resolution and 5 finger gesture support. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 (Cortex A53) Quad-Core 1.4 GHz processor coupled with Adreno 308 and 2GB RAM. It offers 16GB of internal storage out of which 10GB will be reserved for the users and rest being taken up by the OS which is expected to be Android Nougat. Moreover, Lenovo TB-8504F/N has a 5-megapixel Autofocus camera and a LED flash on its rear panel while a 2-megapixel camera in its front as well. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has an accelerometer, light sensor, and Proximity Sensor as well.
As per Geekbench website, the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is be powered by a 2.02 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB of RAM, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Moreover, The tablet scored 935 points in the single-core test and 4667 points in the multi-core test.
As per earlier leaks and reports, the tablet will be launched in three storage variants- 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage. The Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus will feature an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. The Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus also said to comes with an option to expand storage via micro SD card. The tablet will be backed up by a 4250 mAh non-removable battery. Further, it is rumoured to have an 8-megapixel rear camera that comes along with a LED flash, while a 5-megapixel camera is in its front. The Dual SIM tablet will support 4G/LTE network. Besides, this tablet will offer Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and two large speakers. The tablet will have 7.97 mm of thickness and weighs 330 g.
