Lenovo has announced to unveil a smartphone at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 event. The company has started sending out the teasers via social media platforms for the same with tagline “#KnockOut Coming Soon MWC 2016”.
“A gorgeous new device has been engineered from scratch to deliver the #Knockout punch. Brace yourselves,” the company recently tweeted.
In another tweet, Lenovo confirmed that the phone will come with Dolby Atmos technology. As is obvious from the teasers as well, the phone has two speaker grills in its back panel. The tweeted images also indicate towards a metal body.
Though the company has not revealed any other information about the device, reports suggest that the smartphone would be Lemon 3 Plus – the successor for Lemon 3 which was launched in China in January this year for Â¥699 (approximately Rs 7,250).
Lemon 3 Plus said to come with a 5.5-inch Full HD (920×1080 pixel) IPS display and the 1.5 GH octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor. Along with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU, the smartphone reportedly will shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
As per the reports, the smartphone will come with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128GB via a micro SD card. It will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. Connectivity optons will include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 and GPS.
