Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme launched in India, price starts at Rs 1.97 lakhs

The base model with Intel Core i5 chipset is priced at Rs 1,97,471, and there are two Core i7 models with 512GB and 1TB of SSD storage priced at Rs 2,04,479 and Rs 3,02,015 respectively.

Lenovo has silently introduced its latest ThinkPad X1 Extreme laptop in India. The device is currently listed on company’s official website at a starting price tag of Rs 1,97,471.

The latest laptop from Lenovo comes with some heavyweight performance and top-of-the-line specifications. The base model with Intel Core i5 is priced at Rs 1,97,471, and there are two Core i7 models with 512GB and 1TB of SSD storage priced at Rs 2,04,479 and Rs 3,02,015 respectively.

The laptop comes loaded with a 15.6-inch display with an option of UHD HDR touchscreen which comes with a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels coupled with 400 nits brightness, 100 per cent Adobe 8+2 bit colour depth, with Dolby Vision. There is also a Full non-touch screen variant that comes with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 300 nits brightness and 72 per cent colour gamut.

The laptop is powered by up to 8th generation Intel Core i7 and it is loaded with Windows 10 Pro. The ThinkPad X1 Extreme is backed by an Intel UHD Graphics 630 and the top variant gets NVIDIA GeForce 1050 4GB GDDR5 graphics card. It is loaded with a 16GB of and it can be expanded up to 64GB DDR4 RAM. The device is available up to Up to 2 SSDs (2 x M.2 2280 PCIe TLC & SATA) for 2TB maximum storage.

On the battery front, the ThinkPad X1 Extreme comes with 4 cells, 80Wh battery, which delivers up to 15 hours of battery life. Plus, the laptop comes with Rapid Charge technology that can deliver up to 12 hours of backup in just 60 minutes. For security, it has Fast Online Identity (FIDO) authentication capabilities, dTPM 2.0, fingerprint reader, Windows Hello with facial recognition, ThinkShutter, Smart card reader and Kensington lock slot.

The laptop features a spill-resistant keyboard with multi-touch glass touchpad. The keyboard is backlit with LED lighting. On the connectivity front, it is equipped with two 3.1 ports, 2 USB Thunderbolt3 ports, 4-in-1 card reader, HDMI 2.0, network extension, audio/mic combo, WiFi 802.11 AC 2×2 and 5.0.
