Lenovo releases teasers for the upcoming Z2 Plus

In China, Lenovo Zuk Z2 is priced at 1,799 Yuan which is approximately Rs 18,370.

Lenovo is expected to launch its Z2 Plus in India on September 20. The company has been releasing teasers on its official Twitter handle with the hashtag FastForward. Today, Lenovo has posted some videos in which it says the smartphone will be stronger than metal.

Alongwith the video Lenovo tweeted, “The Lenovo Z2 Plus is made of something much stronger & lighter than Metal. Find out now! #FastForward”.

Lenovo had launched Lenovo Zuk Z2 in China in May this year for 1,799 Yuan which is approximately Rs 18,370 and is now being re-branded as the Lenovo Z2 Plus for the Indian market.

The Lenovo Zuk Z2 has a 5-inch display with full (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is powered by the 2.15 quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor and Adreno 530 GPU. The phone has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. However, it lacks expandable storage slot. The smartphone runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 3,500 battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The device also features a fingerprint sensor on the home button which as per the company can unlock the phone in under 0.1 seconds.

The Lenovo Zuk Z2 flaunts a 13-megapixel shooter on the back with flash, f/2.2 and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers Dual SIM, with VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Type C. The handset measures 141.65 x 68.88 x 8.45 mm and weighs 149 grams.
