Lenovo Phab and Yu Yureka Note are the two new phablets which look quite promising. Both are closely priced to each other and have huge screens. The Lenovo Phab has a price tag of Rs 11,999 while the Yureka Note has been announced at Rs 13,499. So let’s check out which one is the better value for money device.
Display
The Lenovo Phab is a much bigger device with dimension of 97 mm x 8.9 mm x 186 mm and a huge screen of 6.98 inch. Infact, the Lenovo Phab is much more a tablet than a phablet. At 250 grams it is not lighter either. The display of Phab has also just HD resolution.
The Yureka Note has a smaller 6 inch touchscreen that has full HD or 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well.
So in my opinion, if you want a phablet and not a tablet, then you should better go for Lenovo Phab which is relatively smaller and easier to handle.
Camera
The Yu Yureka Note has a 13 Megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. Nothing much is known about the cameras yet.
The Lenovo Phab too has a 13 megapixel auto focus rear camera but its front camera is of 5 megapixel resolution.
Other features
The Lenovo Phab has the 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8916 64-bit quad core Processor that runs this Android Lollipop based device with the help of 2 GB RAM. It has 16 GB of internal storage and a micro SD card slot that can hold a card of up to 64 GB capacity.
The Yu Yureka Note has the 1.5 GHz Mediatek MT6753 octa core processor (64 bit), 3 GB RAM and Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It also has 16 GB of internal storage and a micro SD card that has 32 GB capacity.
Connectivity
The Yu Yureka Note had dual SIM slot, WiFi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It has 3.5 mm jack and FM radio as well.
The Lenovo Phab too has dual SIM, 4G, GPS (with GLONASS and Beidou), dual Band WiFi (a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5 mm jack and FM radio.
Wrapping up
In my view, unless you want a tablet like device, then Yu Yureka Note is advisable over the Lenovo Phab. The Yureka Note also has better display resolution, higher RAM and a better front camera. But do note that the Yureka Note is a bit costlier than Lenovo Phab.
