Lenovo had announced the first Project Tango phone – the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, at the Lenovo Tech World event in San Francisco in June this year. The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is priced at $499 or approximately Rs 33,310 and it comes in Champange Gold and Gunmetal Grey colour variants. Now the Chinese edition of the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro has been spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA revealing the specs.
As per the TENAA listing, the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro Chinese Edition smartphone has a 6.4 inch QHD display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, a Snapdragon 652 Processor and 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It has three rear cameras – a 16-megapixel primary camera, a depth camera and a motion tracking camera – while an 8-megapixel camera is in its front.
The motion tracking and the depth sensing cameras allows the phone to recognize area and the user in real time to convert the whole world around a user into augmented reality. The phone can sense physical spaces and structures in 3D making augmented reality (AR) experiences possible. It features a huge 4,050 mAh non removable battery.
The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Connectivity options of the device include dual SIM, 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS/A-GPS. The phone is 179.88 mm tall, 88.57 mm wide and 11.15 mm thin and it weighs 259 grams, according to the TENAA listing. As per the listing, Lenovo Phab 2 Pro Chinese Edition comes in Gunmetal gray and Champagne Gold colors.
Price of Lenovo Phab 2 Pro Chinese Edition is not known at the moment but since it is now spotted on TENAA, we can expect its launch in China soon.
