Lenovo has today launched the new Note series smartphone – Lenovo K8 Note in India. The K8 Note comes in two variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, priced at Rs 12,999 and Rs 13,999 respectively. The smartphone will be available for sale from exclusively via Amazon India stating 18 August at 12 PM. Lenovo K8 Note comes in Fine Gold and Venom Black colour options.
The launch offers on the purchase of Lenovo K8 Note on Amazon include Rs 900 off on the Moto Sports Headphones, up to 80 percent off on Kindle ebooks (up to Rs 300), and Idea data offer in which you get up to 64GB of 4G data with unlimited calls for 56 days at Rs 343.
Lenovo K8 Note features a unibody metal design and a 5.5-inch full HD display with (1080×1920 pixels) resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by 64 bitMediaTek Helio X23 Chipset with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.85GHz, and two Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.3GHz coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM. The Lenovo K8 Note offers 32GB/64GB of internal storage and 128 GB micro SD card slot. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and comes with a 4000 mAh battery and 15W rapid charger. The battery cliams to offerup to 24.7 hours of Talk time and 378 hours of standby time.
The Lenovo K8 Note boasts a dual camera set up 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 13-megapixel front shooter with LED flash to capture depth information. For connectivity, the smartphone has hybrid dual sim, 4G/LTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), micro-USB port, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. The device is splash resistant with water-repellent nano-coating and features a fingerprint sensor at the back. It also comes withcomes with Lenovo’s usual Theatermax tech and Dolby Atmos. The K8 Note measures 154.5×75.9×8.5mm and weighs 180 grams. The Sensors include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
Lenovo has recently announced that all forthcoming smartphone will feature Stock Android operating system. The company says that Lenovo K8 Note will be the first device to ship with stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The company says that the stock Android experience will give users a cleaner interface, a smoother experience and no excess bloat ware. To recall, Lenovo smartphones had Pure VibeUI, which provided some stock Android experience, but it came with nifty tweaks and customization. With this, the company says that it will be able to will be now able to provide better support with efficient updates.
