Lenovo has launched a new 7 inch tablet, called Ideapad A1000, in India priced at Rs 8,980. The tablet is now available at the company’s official estore.
Lenovo A1000 features a 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek 8317 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB internal storage and microSD card slot. The tablet is based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and has a 3500 mAh battery. It has a 7-inch screen with 1024×600 pixels Resolution and 2G voice calling support as well.
Lenovo Ideapad A1000 will be competing with Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 311, Asus Memo Pad and Acer Iconia A1 – all of which come without SIM support. Lenovo has in fact priced at par with similar tablets from Indian brands.
