Along with Lenovo Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus, Lenovo has also has unveiled three new tablets, at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016, in Barcelona. All the three tablets come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and are scheduled to start shipping in June. Lenovo Tab 3 7 and Tab 3 8 are designed for the regular users while the Tab 3 10 is more for business professionals.
Lenovo Tab 3 7 and Tab 3 8 have almost same set of specifications except screen size and battery. The Lenovo Tab 3 7 features a 7-inch (1024x 600pixels) IPS Adaptive Display while Tab 3 7 features a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) HD IPS Adaptive Display. Both are powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek 64-bt processor and 1GB of RAM. The tablets runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Lenovo Tab 3 7 has 3450 mAh battery and Lenovo Tab 3 7 has 4290 mAh battery.
Both the tablets come with 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up-to 32GB via a micro SD card. The tablets flaunt a 5-megapixel rear snapper with an LED flash and a 2-megapixel selfie camera on the front panel. For connectivity, they offers Dual-SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, and a micro USB port. Both the Tab3 7 and Tab3 8 boast a Dolby Atmos cinematic moving audio and offer safe Web-browsing, restricted access and Kid’s Mode, which ensures that they are safe for children to use. The tablets also feature IP52 certification making them water resistant.
Lenovo Tab 3 10 is the most premium among all the tablets and it has a 10.1-inch (1920×1200 pixels) full-HD IPS display that has Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The device comes equipped with MediaTek 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 2GB/3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB of built-in storage, and 64GB expandable storage slot. Connectivity options on the tablet include 4G-LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a micro USB 2.0 port with OTG support.
The device sports an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front snapper.The tablet packs a massive 7000 mAh battery and also features dual front-facing speakers with Dolby Atmos technology for superior Audio quality. The tablet comes pre-loaded with Android for Work apps, Google Play for Work and Kiosk Mode that allows you to set up as an interactive kiosk.
All the three tablets will be available in white, cyan, pink and black color options. Lenovo Tab 3 7 is priced at $129 (approximately Rs 8,841), Lenovo Tab 3 8 Wifi model is priced at $99 (approximately Rs 6,785) while the 4G-LTE variant costs $149 (approximately Rs 10,212). The Lenovo Tab 3 10 Business is priced at $199 (approximately Rs 13,639) for Wi-Fi model, $249 (approximately Rs 17,066) for 2GB RAM and 4G-LTE and $299 (approximately Rs 20,493) for 3GB of RAM and 4G-LTE variant.
