Levono has added two new stylish handsets in its portfolio of Vibe series – Vibe X2 and Vibe Z2. Flaunting slim profiles, the new Vibe Z2 and X2 will feature the Vibe 2.0 UI laid on top of the Android 4.4 KitKat update. Lenovo plans to make the Vibe X2 and Vibe Z2 available from next month onwards in select markets including Asia region.
Lenovo Vibe Z2 is yet another selfie centric smartphone to hit the market. The Vibe Z2 is also company’s first 64-bit mobile Chipset featuring smartphone. Lenovo has armed it with the 64-bit quad-core 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 mobile chipset and 2 GB RAM. The Vibe Z2 features an extra-bright 5.5-inch touchscreen display boasting of 600 nits brightness and supports 1280×720 pixel resolution. The smartphone will also support 4G LTE network but only in select markets and other model will offer Dual-SIM configuration to hold two SIM cards. The Vibe Z2 offers 32 GB on-board storage.
The Vibe Z2 has an 8 megapixel camera in the front with fixed focus and auto-shutter gesture control that lets the user capture the image with a blink of an eye or a smile. This camera is ideally meant to take selfies and hold HD quality video calls. At the back, it has a 13 megapixel camera with second generation Sony Exmor BSI sensor, auto-focus and roped with LED Flash. The Vibe Z2 is only 7.8 mm thick and weighs 158 grams. Lenovo has packed a 3000 mAh battery in the phone which come in White, Titanium and Gold color options.
The Vibe X2 features a slim profile with layered design to depict multiple layers on the sides of the smartphone. Lenovo has powered the Vibe X2 with the octa-core 2 GHz MediaTek MT6595m True8Core mobile chipset with 2GB RAM for best possible output. Vibe X2 features a 5-inch Full HD display with 5-point multi-touch support. The phone packs 32 GB on-board storage. At the rear, there is a 13 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash. This camera can be used to click high quality images and HD videos. In the front, it has a 5 megapixel camera to click selfies and hold video calls.
Even the Vibe X2 comes in 4G LTE network supporting variant with single SIM support. Whereas the Asia Pacific region will get a Dual-SIM model. Measuring 7.27 mm thick, the stylish Vibe X2 weighs 120 grams. Lenovo has packed 2300 mAh capacity battery inside the Vibe X2.
Lenovo Vibe Z2 and Vibe X2 smartphones will be made available from October.
